Community Support Pledge

Goondiwindi Goes for Gold

Bring the Bush to Brisbane in 2032.

Goondiwindi Cotton is putting its hand up to be a supplier to the Games in Brisbane in 2032.

We want to see our region's cotton, skills and enterprise contribute to this extraordinary event — and help create lasting benefits for Goondiwindi and regional Queensland.

The Queensland Government has committed to creating opportunities for Queensland businesses, including small, family and regional businesses, through Games procurement and supply chains. We want to see that commitment delivered.

Our request

We call on the Queensland Government and the organisers of the Games in Brisbane in 2032 to deliver on their commitments to Queensland's small, family and regional businesses.

We ask that these businesses have fair and practical opportunities to supply the Games, including through the wider supply chain, and that commitments to local participation result in measurable benefits for our communities.

We support Goondiwindi Cotton's ambition to contribute as a supplier and help bring the bush to Brisbane in 2032.

Read the Queensland Procurement Policy 2026 (pages 7–8).
